Members of GMB Bolton 23 Branch Committee, (The second largest trades union within Bolton Council) dropped into the new Armed Forces Centre in Bolton Town centre today.

Work is in hand to convert the old Hoot credit union building on Ashburner Street into a new centre to meet the needs of ex service personnel in Bolton. It’s anticipated that the centre will bring together services under one roof to provide practical help and support for ex-service men and women and their families.

The centre which is planned to open next month will provide Bolton ex armed forces members with a place to seek support, information and help over a wide range of issues.
