Pride 2024 – Bolton Pride May update
GMB Bolton 23 branch will not be participating in Bolton Pride this year and instead will be supporting community prides such as Pride on the Range ( same date) and Bury Pride ( June 1st) alongside our partners Just a Ball Game and GMB NWI Shout!
We have supported Bolton Pride since it was hosted at the Holiday Inn some years ago but this year we have taken the decision to not participate.
Instead we will be supporting our friends and partners at
Pride on the Range – Saturday May 25th
Bury Pride – Saturday June 1st
As ever we stand shoulder to shoulder with our LGBTIQ+ and non binary siblings as allies, friends and family members and whilst harassment and violence against them is at an all time high in society , as a branch we are clear on our stance of zero tolerance and our union office is a place of welcome and safety.
